Quality Assurance

Quality and client satisfaction are paramount to all AES projects. We have an established quality system which is used as an outline in all pre-planning sessions and reviewed by team members. If there are client-specific quality requirements and certifications, AES uses those as a basis for the quality standards, and communicates that plan through the project.

Incident Command System (ICS) is the method of communications and control for AES on all of our projects, whether small or large. With ICS, lines of reporting, authority, and communication are clear and direct.

AES has numerous systems in place to ensure quality control throughout the project. These systems include peer reviews from third parties, multiple editing systems for reports, and an in-house system to test the quality of analytical laboratories. AES conducts quality lab checks and field sample data checks using field blanks, equipment rinsate analysis, duplicate analysis, and known quantity lab analytical checks.

The quality control plan is directed and reviewed by Senior Geologist and Principal Scientist Forrest Cook. The on-site quality duties are the responsibility of all AES staff members under the supervision of the specific project manager on a given project.
