A+ Environmental Solutions, LLC (AES), has been recognized with a Green Business Certification Award from the Monterey Bay Area Green Business Program for Santa Cruz County. Our environmental stewardship program has been developing since the first days of the company, and includes paper and waste reduction improvements, reuse of materials, and recycling. Whenever possible, AES conserves water and energy, recovers and recycles building materials, uses recycled and recyclable products in our office and in the field, and uses alternative fuels (i.e., biodiesel) in company vehicles and machinery. We use passive solar heating for our Santa Cruz office, where all light bulbs are energy efficient, toilets and sink faucets are low-flow, Energy Star compliant copiers and printers use auto-shutoff, and exterior vegetation consumes little water, requiring no irrigation. Employee carpooling is encouraged.

To the extent possible, AES strives to use resources wisely by reducing waste, recycling, and reusing products and materials. We employ new technologies, processes, and systems that moderate the need for paper, converting documentation to digital form. AES is committed to reducing our carbon footprint by making conscious, environmentally-friendly decisions. In all of our endeavors, we focus on building a a healthy and sustainable environment.
